 Then a night in London and dinner with Jane Beaumont.  What a lovely person.  Link and I had met Jane on the Radisson cruise in '04.  She used to call Link "Slicker". 

The Strand Hotel in Covent Gardens was a great location...hotel good.

The exchange rate for Euros ('04) was 65Eu for $100.  In '06:  70 Euros for $100.  The Pound Sterling was 49Pound Sterling for $100. About the same in '06. In using a credit card I got charged the exchange rate and a conversion fee.  April 7-13 2005.
